Pipe bombs sent to prominent Democrats, here’s how people on social media reacted to it

A series of 14 suspected explosive packages were sent to CNN and Democratic figures including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Robert De Niro, between Monday, Oct. 22 to Friday, Oct. 26. Authorities are said to have intercepted all the packages before they were delivered to the targets. FBI arrested the suspect, Cesar Sayoc, a 56-year-old Florida resident, on Friday, Oct. 26. The suspect is believed to be a supporter of President Donald Trump.

As usual, people on social media were divided.

Some people supported the apparent Republican rhetoric of false flagging.

Some people criticized Republicans for playing politics.

However, not everyone was divided! Some had a humorous take on it. Here are some.
