Hansil Mehta is a journalist based in Toronto, Canada. A graduate of Humber’s Bachelor of Journalism program, Mehta has experience in radio and television broadcasting as host, reporter, associate producer and production manager. He currently works at Bell Media. Mehta has previously worked for CJSA-FM, a South Asian radio station in the Greater Toronto Area and Surviving Hate, an investigative journalism project.

Mehta has produced many segments and has covered numerous elections for CJSA-FM. He has produced radio commercials for Freedom MobileCIBCBrar’s-Food Culture of IndiaBadboyCanada DryChatr Mobile and many other businesses in Hindi and Gujarati.

With skills ranging from writing to multimedia production, Mehta thrives in high-pressure environment. He is proficient in industry standard technologies and applications such as Dejero, Tieline, INews, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe Lightroom, Vegas and Sound Forge. Mehta interesting in covering human rights, climate change, politics and sports.
